Bayou Gulf States PVA Chapter at the 2026 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival
The Bayou Gulf States Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) Chapter proudly returned to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in 2026, continuing our mission of accessibility and inclusion. Held from April 23 to May 3, 2026, our presence at Jazz Fest ensured that individuals with mobility challenges had the support they needed to fully experience one of the most iconic cultural events in the country.
At our booth, we provided essential wheelchair services and on-site assistance, helping attendees navigate the festival grounds safely and comfortably. This effort reflects our ongoing commitment to breaking down barriers and creating spaces where everyone can participate freely.

Accessibility Initiative
By providing mobility solutions, we reinforced the importance of accessibility at large-scale events—ensuring that all attendees, regardless of ability, could take part in the full Jazz Fest experience.
Community Engagement
Our team connected with festivalgoers, shared resources, and raised awareness about the needs of individuals with disabilities, while highlighting the work we do to support veterans and the broader adaptive community.
Promoting Inclusivity
Our continued presence at Jazz Fest reflects a strong commitment to building an inclusive culture—one where public events are accessible, welcoming, and designed for everyone to enjoy.
